**Prayer Update!**

Remember that praise that I posted about that Cigna said they would cover my HSG? Well, we came home from our Vegas trip and found a surprise bill for almost $900 where they are now trying to deny the claim. I spoke with Janeen at Cigna who was no help. She said she could resubmit for $292 to be covered (the x-ray portion) because I did call and get approval for those codes, but not the rest. Just to clarify, the rest is facility and supply charges. Maybe I'm assuming too much, but isn't it understood that when you get an "okay" for a procedure that a facility and supplies will be used?? Apparently not to Janeen. She said I should have asked for approval for that code too. Ahhh!

So, I asked to be transferred to her supervisor who was a million times more helpful. She agreed that the entire charge should be resubmitted and should have been done by Janeen. Thank you! However, they have to send it to a formal research and review committee. We'll know in 48 to 72 business hours what their decision is.

Please pray that this is in fact covered like they said it would be on December 3. Jackie at Cigna will be reviewing it and calling me to let me know the decision. Just to put things in perspective, had we known it wouldn't be covered and the entire cost of the procedure -- we could have had artificial insemination and potentially a baby for about the same cost.
